Store window Display
Interior Space Design
For this project I designed a physical model of a window display. For this I got inspiration from all the scrap pieces of paper and sketches I keep in my bag plus the bright colors that made up my bag. I designed this with no particular product or store in mind but I could see this display working well for Anthropology or Glossier. It could also be a display for simple modern furniture.
PROCESS
Color, Texture and Size
For this project I decided to start by looking at some of the current store front designs displayed around Barcelona and found that I was drawn towards the ones that had oversized objects or art.
The end design idea actually came from things I was keeping in my backpack at the time. The inspiration was the scrap pieces of paper and sketches I keep in my bag plus the bright colors that made up my bag. At the time I was doing a lot of Mood boards in a collage style layout and was drawn to the texture it created and wanted to play with that in this design.

STORY TIME
This was a project for my Retail design study abroad class at Elisava. I had fully finished it and it was selected to be displayed at the school end of semester exhibition. Unfortunately before I could photographic this well and do any last changes the 2020 Pandemic happened. I was called back to the US and was unable to get my model back. 2 years later I was finally able to recreate the model and photographic for my Portfolio. For this new model I changed the size of the model to be longer and less deep which allowed for better lighting.
